Teaching Philosophy
It is my belief that all students have the potential to be musicians. Making music is at the heart of all my lessons and my teaching brings together all the essential elements to develop confident, imaginative and expressive musicians.
Lessons are tailored to the individual needs and aims of the student, building a solid technique, skills and knowledge in a fun, rewarding and progressive way.
In lessons I develop practice strategies with my students so they can confidently consolidate the learning that takes place during the lesson, enabling them to become independent musicians.
My piano studio welcomes everyone and celebrates all musical achievements, however small. During your time here, I will do everything possible to ensure your health and safety. I have attended safeguarding, diversity and inclusion training and have an enhanced DBS certificate.
